You need (okay, want) a bigger paycheck.<br \/>\n4. You want to start your own business.<br \/>\n5. You want to learn from the best and the brightest.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>6. You want to do good.<br \/>\n7. You want to find a job.<br \/>\n8. Your spouse will leave you if you don\u2019t find a job<br \/>\n9. Why work 9-5 when you can work 24\/7?<br \/>\n10. It\u2019s your only chance at ever being called \u201cMaster\u201d [of Business Administration].<br \/>\n11. Checking that \u201cgraduate degree\u201d box will do wonders for your online dating prospects.<br \/>\n12. You might meet your future spouse -- and be able to delete your online dating profile.<br \/>\n13. Which would make your mother happy.<br \/>\n14. It\u2019s shorter than medical school -- and there\u2019s no risk of killing someone.<br \/>\n15. It\u2019s shorter than law school -- and there are fewer jokes about MBAs than lawyers.<br \/>\n16. It\u2019s shorter than a PhD. program -- and you don\u2019t have to wear Tevas.<br \/>\n17. It\u2019s a good excuse for an anemic social life.<br \/>\n18. You\u2019ll learn exactly how many drinks are too many drinks at professional networking events -- the hard way.<br \/>\n24. You\u2019ll learn exactly how few drinks are too few drinks at professional networking events -- the boring way.<br \/>\n25. But seriously -- there will be a lot of chances to network.<br \/>\n26. You\u2019ll have lots of new things to talk about at cocktail parties...<br \/>\n27. ...of which you\u2019ll be invited to many -- thanks to all that networking!<br \/>\n28. Core curriculum: statistics, marketing, finance, financial reporting, operational management and organizational behavior, oh my!<br \/>\n29. You could become an <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jim_Lovell\">astronaut<\/a>.<br \/>\n30. Or experience the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insead.edu\/home\/\">foreign land of your choice<\/a>!<br \/>\n52. B-school is like college, part II (only with more homework, bigger consequences, and worse hangovers, since you\u2019re not 21 anymore).<br \/>\n53. You\u2019ll learn a new language -- it\u2019s called \u201cjargon.\u201d<br \/>\n54. You can use aforementioned jargon to impress and\/or alienate friends, family and acquaintances.<br \/>\n55. You\u2019ll become a master of the delicate art of the elevator pitch.<br \/>\n56. You\u2019ll get another diploma to hang on the wall!<br \/>\n57. You can learn when the newspaper is lying to you.
