Take a couple of days off and everything starts happening.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"https:\/\/chronicle.uchicago.edu\/090528\/international.shtml\" href=\"https:\/\/chronicle.uchicago.edu\/090528\/international.shtml\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Chicago Booth announced the availability of no-cosignor loans for its students<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accepted.com\/mba\/chicago.aspx\">Chicago Booth<\/a> and Associate Dean Rose Martinelli have worked hard to <a title=\"https:\/\/blog.accepted.com\/acceptedcom_blog\/2008\/11\/28\/mba-admissions-no-cosigner-loans-for-international-students.html\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.accepted.com\/acceptedcom_blog\/2008\/11\/28\/mba-admissions-no-cosigner-loans-for-international-students.html\" target=\"_blank\">ensure access to international students<\/a> since alternative sources of funding for international students dried up last fall. With this deal involving Deutsche Bank and The International Student Loan Program they appear to have a means of ensuring that all Booth MBA students will have access to funding \"up to the total cost of attendance, less any financial aid received\"<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/05\/30\/business\/30oath.html?_r=1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/05\/30\/business\/30oath.html?_r=1\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Harvard Students Voluntarily Take Ethics Oath.<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>A growing percentage of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accepted.com\/mba\/HarvardHBS.aspx\">Harvard's <\/a>Class of 2009 is pledging itself to an <a title=\"https:\/\/mbaoath.org\/take-the-oath\/\" href=\"https:\/\/mbaoath.org\/take-the-oath\/\" target=\"_blank\">ethical code<\/a> drafted by HBS students. In less than one week, slightly less than 30% of the HBS class has agreed to the oath and as of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecrimson.com\/article.aspx?ref=528381\">today <\/a>it is about 37%. However commendable this initiative, the cynical comments that accompany the <em>NY Times <\/em>article about the oath say much about the reputation of business and MBAs. Only widespread living up to the oath can repair that sullied reputation.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a title=\"https:\/\/engage.wharton.upenn.edu\/MBA\/blogs\/mbaadmissions_blog\/archive\/2009\/05\/29\/wharton-mba-fall-2009-application-deadlines-announced.aspx\" href=\"https:\/\/engage.wharton.upenn.edu\/MBA\/blogs\/mbaadmissions_blog\/archive\/2009\/05\/29\/wharton-mba-fall-2009-application-deadlines-announced.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Wharton releases deadlines for 2009-<span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">1<\/span><\/a><\/strong><a title=\"https:\/\/engage.wharton.upenn.edu\/MBA\/blogs\/mbaadmissions_blog\/archive\/2009\/05\/29\/wharton-mba-fall-2009-application-deadlines-announced.aspx\" href=\"https:\/\/engage.wharton.upenn.edu\/MBA\/blogs\/mbaadmissions_blog\/archive\/2009\/05\/29\/wharton-mba-fall-2009-application-deadlines-announced.aspx\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>0.<\/strong><\/a> The submission deadlines are October 1, 2009, January 5, 2010, and March 9, 2010. Yes. You read correctly: The first round submission deadline is October 1, and that is 9 days earlier than last year's deadline. The first round deadlines have been edging \u00a0earlier and earlier. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accepted.com\/mba\/Wharton.aspx\">Wharton's <\/a>questions should be released in \"mid-July.\"<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"https:\/\/www.kellogg.northwestern.edu\/News_Articles\/2009\/Dean-Jain-May-2009.aspx\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kellogg.northwestern.edu\/News_Articles\/2009\/Dean-Jain-May-2009.aspx\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Kellogg announces the retirement of Dean Dipak C. Jain<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>after eight years in office.
