I just came across this<\/a> article entitled \u201cFive things you should do right now if you\u2019re considering going to grad school<\/em>.\u201d It was the title that grabbed my attention, but I\u2019m most pleased with what\u2019s inside.<\/p>\n

The author co-founded an admissions consulting company after getting his MBA<\/a>. Since he\u2019s in the business of helping folks like you get into the program of their choice, perhaps the article is worth a read. When you do read it, pay very close attention to what the author says under step #2: Study. I\u2019m going to quote a few lines of it for you just in case you\u2019re pressed for time and can only read my blog post. You need to hear this:<\/p>\n

\u201cTest scores have never been as important as they are today \u2026 whatever you do, don\u2019t let test scores keep you out of grad school. This is the one aspect of the process that you can control the easiest.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019m in the test prep<\/a> business and he\u2019s in the admissions<\/a> business, but both of us are in the get-you-into-grad-school business. Take control of your future and get that GMAT score up<\/a>! It is eminently possible. All you need to do is work for it. No excuses.<\/p>\n
