Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is your success rate?

The vast majority of our clients are admitted to one of their target schools. We help applicants to select schools that are in line with their qualifications and don’t hesitate to recommend against particular schools (or even against an MBA). Having said that, we’re also happy to help you apply to a stretch school so long as you understand the odds.

2. Who will I work with?

We’ll help you select the right coach and you will work directly with him or her on your application, while still benefiting from the knowledge and experience of the full team. All of our staff are listed on our site; what you see is what you get.

3. How early should I get started?

As soon as possible! To preserve the quality of our services, we accept only a small number of clients and must turn away the vast majority of applicants. If you’re a year or more from applying and want to maximize your chances by taking steps like raising your GMAT score, networking with schools, and identifying the right recommenders, ask us about our Early Birds program. We’ll help you to maximize these factors, and, subject to successful completion of the program, guarantee you a slot in our R1 client list the following year.

4. I have a weakness in my profile. Can I still be admitted?

Not everyone is qualified for a top MBA program, but we’ve succeeded at Top 10 programs with applicants who had quit their jobs, had low GMAT scores, or even failed out of college, and overcame these by displaying other strengths. Contact us to explain your situation and we can advise you further.

Mr.C.

I worked with Alice throughout my application process including the interview preparation. Since our initial assessment discussion, I realized that Alice was very smart and had the right intuitions: She quickly made sense of my various previous experiences and how they would connect to each other. I am a quant person with limited writing experience myself, and Alice acted as a very helpful sounding board for my essays.

Mr.T.

Alice made sure that I didn’t miss out on any life experiences that would distinguish me from other applicants, and she was also helpful with recommenders, who she interviewed and helped to draft the letters. I quickly received an invitation to interview at Cambridge Judge, and then an offer including a generous bursary! Menlo Coaching also helped me with career coaching.

I actually worked with Alice the weekend before my GSB interview. My sister had worked with her on her HBS application and recommended I prepare with Alice ahead of my interview on Monday. On a late Friday afternoon, Alice got right to work even though she had not worked with me throughout the application process. She helped me stay focused on being clear, concise, and very specific.
