Hi everyone,

So here´s my doubt: From what age onwards is it a handicap to get into investment banking post MBA. At graduation I will be 32, so I was wondering if this is too old to get into Investments banking (specially bulge bracket). I already come from middle market investmetn banking, so I´m not a career switcher.

I´ve heard that in consulting and general management there´s not too much fuss about age, but I have no idea about investment banking.

Did you find out, Manuel? I'm in the same boat! Will be 32 at graduation :) heading to CBS in the fall. Female. (fingers cross diversity programs).

Its doable. The hurdle you have to overcome is that you are "too good for the role" meaning they don't think you will accept it or don't think you will stay there for a while. If you can convince them you should be fine
