In the present state, it should be $$\frac{(0.0004)(0.000005)}{200,000}=\frac{4*10^{-4}*5*10^{-6}}{20*10^4}=10^{-4-6-4}=10^{-14}$$ _________________ Math Revolution GMAT Instructor Joined: 16 Aug 2015 Posts: 7631 GMAT 1: 760 Q51 V42 GPA: 3.82 Re: (0.0004)(0.000005)/200,000 is equal to which of the following? Using scientific notation, we have:

(4 x 10^-4)(5 x 10^-6)/(2 x 10^5)

(2 x 10^-4)(5 x 10^-6)/10^5

(10^1 x 10^-10)/10^5

10^-9/10^5 = 10^-14
