A number is to be selected at random from the set above. What is the probability that the number selected will be solution of the equation (x-5)(x+10)(2x-5)=0?

B) 1/6

C) 1/4

D) 1/3

E) 1/2

Assuming that u missed one number in the row the solution is C 1/4

Well I assumed umissed 5

since 5 is not listed

there are only two solutions
so its 2/12 1/6

Prob of selecting either 5 or 2.5 = 2/12 = 1/6

it is purposefully missing....there are 12 number and only 2 solutions provided.....(-10) and 2.5......5 is not provided in the set to choose from
hence the prob is 2/12 = 1/6

Its not missing now, but initially before he edited the post there were only 11 numbers
