Hello,
I'm taking the exam on the 24th of June.
I'm thinking of hitting the GMATClub Challenges, what do you think?

I'm focusing on my error log, RC and stamina....so I have my weak areas covered. My weakest area here is timing
Last GMATPrep I got Q 43, V 31, my main issue is timing. verbal has varied from 31-40.

What else should I focus on?

Thanks,
Ali

Ali,

In Quant identify your weak area and see if you are missing any concept. If you could identify 2 or 3 weak topics, you would take your score to around 48.

In Verbal, I do not think we could gain significantly in a week. However, try to work on some LSAT CR and RC monitoring your time and try to improve by 1 minute for every 12 questions. Once you achieve try 1 more min. Don't be tense while working, take things easy.

Hope this helps.

Great advice Vishy, makes lots of sense.

Thanks!

If RC is your weakness, then I agree you can't do much in 1 week.
However, if CR or SC is your weak area, then you can do A LOT in 1 week. I brought my SC hit rate up from ~33 % to ~70%, and increased my verbal from 41 to 44. I know that doesn't sound like much, but its a good amount in terms of percentile.

For Quant, like the poster above said, identify a few weak areas and strengthen them.
I believe that if anyone is scoring below a 46-48 raw on the quant, that means they should focus more on the core principles behind the math questions, and not on tricks/strategies (assuming you're aiming for a 48+). After you get to 48+ then its more about practicing your timing/strategies/tips to help you go from 48 to 50/51.

Good luck
