why should you be pissed off? You score is representative of your practice tests scores. We have people here who have scored consistently in 700s on practice tests and still got less than 650 and even 600.

You need to focus on your quant. Period! you can easily make it go past 42+ with couple of weeks of practice.
Your verbal seems good. But you can further refine it and try to break the barrier of 38.

- practice challenge
- practice OG again and again

AVakil,

So are you planning to retake? Don't rush this time, be well prepared before you attempt.

I had to delay my test date 2 times for the same reason. I hope I can score good when I attemp it this month.

Don't get pissed off man! Relax for a couple of weeks before beginning to work again. You do have a lot of room in improving your Quant Score. I'd start grinding on the basics and later move on to OG11, challenges and MGMAT tests. The MGMAT quant books should be of good help.

I don't see GMAT prep in your practice test list. Have you not given them? They are the best to get a realistic assessment.

Keep focussed, regularly give practice tests to see where you stand, idenfity and work hard on your weak areas, and you be set to achieve your target score.

Good luck !
