Heyy guys...I have been visiting this awesome forum for the last 3 months or so,ever since starting my GMAT preparation.I have taken 28th of this month as my GMAT test date, but somehow I am not pleased with where I am.I got 730 on GMATPrep,700 in MGMAT.So I presume I must be around 700-710 level.I have set myself a high standard, where a score less than 730 would be heartbreaking. But somehow,I am not improving.I mean,I used to get similar scores a month back. Now just 2 weeks are remaining. What do you guys who have scored more than 730-740 and also who havent think should be my next step. Thanks....

Hey there - it is somewhat typical to be stuck at a fairly flat level at the end of your prep - that means you are ready earlier than you thought you would be. Best suggestions from me are to try to get some targeted practice, do a few more tests, and possibly relax

I would also make sure that you understand why you made every single error or missed any questions - dig deep and understand the root/cause and make sure that it does not happen again - whatever that takes (extra time to read questions if you are not attentive or write a list of traps, etc).

Hi,

What you should do now depends greatly on your weak areas and your Quant/Verbal breakdown. If your Quant score is below 50, see this thread for further improvement:

If you have an error log, you should be able to analyze your errors in the last tests and see what kind of questions need more of your attention. It will definitely help if you identify a pattern of some kind in your errors. Something has to be an issue for you: timing yourself, silly errors, etc.
