Thanks for the good info.

I think M will get into the Ultra Elite status soon or later.
HOWEVER, I am not really convinced that M offers better MBA program than Standford does.

Each Ranking shows different result based on its own methodology. Therefore, I would not use only one ranking source, but a combination of many others.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to get in M....hahah

Michigan has always been a BW favorite. They were #2 in 1996 and #4 in 1998. Wharton, Kellogg, Harvard & Michigan are the only schools to have been in the top 10 in every BW poll since the beginning.

I know a lot of Michigan Business School students (I was across the street at the law school when they were ranked 2 & 4). Even students at Michigan believe in their hearts that Harvard and Stanford should be at the top, but I agree that Michigan is a great business school. I ceratinly wouldn't mind being there next year because the football team is a national title contender this year, and many of the key players should be back next year as well. Football is a big deal at Michigan.

I just don't get it - how did Queens and the other 2 canada schools get ahead of IMD INSEAD and LSB?!

There's a column that has 2 parameters for recruiters to grade MBAs from these schools, and INSEAD and IESE are the only schools that get A+ on both.

And Columbia No. 10?

*I don't get it* (The Economist Intelligence Unit rankings are even weirder anyway.)

And then Oxford Said Business School - which is actually gaining reputation rapidly, is below some relatively unknowns even in the UK.

whatever, I'm hoping to get into INSEAD - it's a different matter altogether if I actually will.
