I'm still waiting to hear from Olin (Wash U) and to get an interview invite from USC. I really liked my interviewer at Olin and I put a lot of stock into how friendly/welcoming people seem to be, BUT the school itself just doesn't seem as great. And, well, I have a lot of sentimental attachment to USC and LA. But they'd have to offer me a full ride (lol not gonna happen) to get me to reconsider going to Austin.

mel328, I wasn't notified until a couple of days later about the scholarship/tuition waiver offer. Got notified that I was admitted on Dec 13, got my scholarship notification on Dec 15.



Congrats! Not that I'm biased or anything, but Austin is definitely the best place to be :grin: I heard about admission on the 14th, so unless I hear otherwise today I'm going to assume I didn't get a scholarship, which is understandable with my below average (for UT standards) GPA and GMAT score.

Yeah and I think that Austin is just a cool city. I've always wanted to visit. So I'm really looking forward to UT!

Oh, and apparently I got an email last night saying that I had been rejected from Wash U (Olin). I wasn't planning on going to Wash U anyway since I have UT now but it's still a bummer to be rejected! ("You can't fire me, I quit!") What's curious is that the director of admissions said she wanted to consider me for their full-time MBA program and asked me to schedule an interview. I'm REALLY not interested in pursuing an MBA, but I'm curious as to what exactly she means...does she mean she wants to me to start over from the beginning and prepare an MBA application? Erm, yeah, that's not gonna happen. LOL.

I am an international student currently studying at the U.S. Applied back in the January but still haven't heard back from USC. anyone still haven't heard from USC like me? I am really worried because it's already more than two months since I applied...

I saw people who got in from previous years usually heard back within the week and someone even got the offer right after the interview.. So I'm getting sooooo anxious.. even had nightmare last night.. If I don't hear from them within a couple days, does that mean I am on the waitlist??

Not yet, I submitted my application a long time ago. 1/14, which is right before the deadline for international students.
