3^12 x 8 / 3^3 x 2^3 = 3^12-3 = 3^9

$$\frac{3^{14}–3^{12}}{6^3}=$$

$$\frac{3^{12}(3^2–1)}{3^3*2^3}=$$

$$\frac{3^{12}(8)}{3^3*(8)}=3^{12-3}=3^9$$
