40% error rate on data sufficiency practice questions!!!!

Advice desperately needed here!

I am working through the 12th edition OG, doing between 20-30 problems per day in each section. My scores in all sections are decent, only needing slight improvement, with error rates under 20% for each section.

However, my error rate in data sufficiency is 40%!!!! What can I do to get over this hump, it is obviously my weak spot and in dire need of improvement.

Any advice, links, suggested reading, or whatever, will be greatly appreciated!

Read the strategy thread in my sig for the DS strategy (most of the prep courses teach this strategy.

Keep an error log.

The veritas guide was pretty helpful for laying out the strategies--identifying data restatements, contradictions, etc. It doesn't give a ton of problems, but I think it effectively lays out the correct approach.

One major help for me included the GMATClub tests. Another good aid is Jeff Sackmann's DS sets. After completing and reviewing those resources, you should be quite good at DS questions.

Thanks you guys. I love those error charts. Thanks a bunch.

I just took the practice test and I actually didn't get any of the DS problems wrong. All the quants I missed were regular math problems. Maybe I need to re-evaluate my problem area by taking a few more practice tests.
