Solution:

$$\frac{{(49∗18)+(24∗84)−(56∗9)}}{21}$$

= $$\frac{{7*3*(7∗6)+3*7*(8∗12)−7*3*(8∗3)}}{21}$$

= $$\frac{[7*3{(7∗6)+(8∗12)−(8∗3)}]}{(7*3)}$$

= $$(7∗6)+(8∗12)−(8∗3)$$

= $$42+96−24$$

= 114

Alternate approach:

$$\frac{{(49∗18)+(24∗84)−(56∗9)}}{21}$$

=~ $$\frac{{(50∗20)+(25∗80)−(55∗10)}}{20}$$

= $$\frac{{1000+2000−550}}{20}$$

= $$\frac{2450}{20}$$

= 112.5 (approximate value)

Answer C since it is the only option having a 3-digit number
