Hi understudy.
I have been struggling with my gmat preparations. It was good that your tutor was calling you to check your progress...

I was wondering if could have such a gmat mentor to be able to not just teach but also dedicate time for a phone concersation and help you mentally to acheive your goal.
Most times preparation can seem so frustrating and very tempting to quit but when you have encouragement at the end of a phone line would definitey help me. Is there someone you know that can offer such encouraging help?. Please please.. can someone help.

inspiring and great advice, i'm currently awaiting that 13 week mark before I start my in depth studying, but what I will note is that I have been reading a bit casually in the meantime leading up to it, I can only hope to experience the same success that you have here

Nice summary and test plan. I am planning and focussing on notes taking as per MGMAT books. still to see if I am getting hit by timing but yes notes taking is helping me focus more. Maybe after some practice dont need notes taking,

Congrats on such a good score. I'm hoping to do as well as you. I will need to bolster my Verbal section significantly if I want to get in the 700+ range.

Hi Intern, not sure if you are still around to read this but figured I'd try.
Your strategy and success story are very inspiring, thanks for sharing.
I've had similar scores to you through my first 3 MGMAT CAT's, so hoping to continue to improve as you did.

My weak spot is definitely Quant, so I am wondering what Horacio told you that helped you improve dramatically? I'm in the last month of study (like you, I will have done 3 months of study in total) before my GMAT on May 8th. So I'm focused on doing the problems day in and day out at this point. I need to crack some basic concepts that I am missing (on divisibility, rates, probability) which are holding me back.

Any Quant tips would be much appreciated!

Where did you end up going to B school, by the way?

Grazie, ciao ciao

Hey,

How do I work on my Verbal? I gave GMAT and scored 50 in Quant but only 23 in Verbal. Will taking up online course of Manhattan GMAT help ?

Understudy, thanks for the great post.

I'd like to ask you about that Argentinian GMAT instructor on gmatquantproblems blog. His email is given as arigoldberg80-at-yahoo dot com. But delivery to this email fails. I've tried other options (such as ariELgoldberg80@yah..) but none of them works.

Can you please tell us how you managed to contact him. I'm very interested in purchasing those 400 quant problems.

Thanks.

I'm hoping I pull off a win this! although I've been studying for longer then 3 months, the past three have been my focus months! Looking to take my test at the end of June / early July!
