shekhar_2017 how did you fix the part where you said you were making a lot of mistakes in the last quarter of the test?

aaditya0893 - if you analyze Shekhar's ESRs, you would realize that he made mistakes in his first attempt because he did not have time left for the last block of questions. In his 660-attempt, he had approx. 1 minute left per question in both Quant and Verbal.

For his second attempt, Shekhar understood how to apply concepts to solve questions. That brought time to answer questions down. in his own words

How should you go about this exercise?


People make mistakes because they lack ability or time or both. In Shekhar's case, lacking time was his primary problem (ability was a close second though). You have to decide what is pulling you back and focus on that.

Once you fix the cause, timing takes care of itself. Take a look at how Rohit improved from missing 7 questions and scoring V27 to completing the Verbal section on time and scoring V41.
