Hi ,

I gave my GMAT this morning... was gunning for >750... came with a paltry 670.
Am very disappointed with the score.... and am contemplating giving it again.

Should I retake the GMAT in the new format ? (new format starts June 5 and I am not allowed to schedule another within 31 days. I tried scheduling one for tomorrow but the system threw me off with the 31 day message ). Or should I just go with the 670 and concentrate on the applications and hope to get through with my 10 years work exp (unfortunately all experience is in IT) and the strength of my essays?

What chance do I have to get into IIM Ahmedabad, India PGPX and ISB, India PGP 2012 with this score and work exp?

Gave the GMAT again.... scored 680 this time (48Q, 34V).
Not sure why Verbal goes for a toss on D-Day. My test prep scores for Verbal have been 48 and 50 for the 2 tests.

Anyways, have decided not to attempt again. Will start applying and hope that my essays get me through.
