Hey All,

I will be applying to the Haas EWMBA program for next year and I'm wondering if it is worth taking the GMAT again.

Hey - I got in with lower than a 680, but I think I had a really strong overall application. That's what it comes down to. Consider your complete application, including essays, GPA, resume, interview, etc. That said - I can't imagine it would hurt to have a higher GMAT.

I applied with a 680 (1st attempt) as well, but for the FT program. If you're confident that you can get a substantially higher score in your second writing, and you have the time, then I think you should go ahead. I stuck with 680 because I barely had enough time from work to study let alone write my application, and wanted (needed) Rd 1 access to scholarships! Nevertheless, I really think you should take a look at your complete application and evaluate if it's compelling enough overall. How you differentiate yourself in the application may ultimately be a larger deciding factor in the end.
