started studying about 3 months ago at end of february. Took kaplan course here in LA. Went to info sessions before as well for some other test prep places. Even made a spreadsheet to decide between which courses to choose from. Can send a copy to anybody who requests it. Chose the one that was closer to my work.

The strength of that course was that it has great online resources and that it was close to my workplace so I could go study there at lunchtime.

2 h a day 6 days a week. Worked hard on both sections although i was first having some difficulty with the reading comprehension questions. Data sufficiency sucks at first but then it becomes so easy. Never underestimate sentence correctino questions as a couple of mistakes can quickly add up.

Scored 530 on my first CAT test then started improving soem scores that I can remember 640, 620, 650, 720, 680. Took about 8 CAt tests before real test.

One thing I do advise one to do is to do practise CAT tests at the time when you are taking the real test so there I was every Saturday mroning at 8am to do GMAT tests.

The day of the test was quite stressful. Completely bombed the math section (so I thought) so was totally stressed out and even took 2 extra minutes after the allowed break. Even if you think you did badly, you never know you can always catch up on verbal. Essays were easy.

Verbal went smoothly as well.Stgamina is key to this exam make sure you can bring your A-game in the latter part of the exam.

Now it's time to relax since i don't think i'll go until 08.

probably 08 need to bolster my work experience and to get into some extracurricular activities. a little worried that if i apply next year, i don't have enough experience. wanna stay in the LA area but iknow berkeley has a good program part-time ( wouldn't mind commuting there on weekends). Still haven't made up my mind on whether i should go FT or PT
