Hi there every one

I just took a GMAT prep test scored 750(Q49/V42)

my previous scores were as follow:
1.GMAT prep 650(Q50/V28)
2.GMAT prep 640(Q49/V28)
3.mgmat 680(Q45/V37)

so far I've:
1. Read all the MGMAT guides
2. Solved all the questions in OG 2015
3. watched the SC series in e-GMAT

Materials I have:
1. e-GMAT Verbal (not the live one)
2. GMAT Prep's 2 question banks and one exam pack
3. GMATclub's tests
4. 8 mgmat exams
5. 800 GMAT exams
6.Official guide quant and verbal

So I have very little time (70 days) and I don't know what to do in order to maximize my chances of getting a better score

--------------------
P.S: in today's exam I got 8 verbal questions wrong, 6 of them were SC questions. so I want to focus on that and also review other topics. and the e-GMAT course was awful it didn't help me in any shape or form. so I need other sources for SC.

Manhattan SC guide is more comprehensive than egmat online course. Internalize the concepts once again. You can also refer to "Thursday's with Rohn" for the concepts you have some doubts. Moreover, you can refer to Aristotle's SC.

That is a great mock CAT score. Keep the good work going on. I would recommend you to appear for another GMAT prep mock CAT and if you score at a similar level, I do not think there is any reason to wait for 70 days. You can reschedule the test and ace it.

Try to drill down into each problem type to ace them.

SC: The questions test various concepts such as S-V agreement, modifiers, parallelism etc. Find out what troubles you. As a general guide line, you can start solving a question by taking the following things in consideration:

1. Find out the subject and the verb
2. See that the S&V agree in number
3. Look out for the modifiers
4. Look out for parallelism
5. Look out for usage of certain words - such as vs like, few vs less etc.

CR: There might be certain types of questions that are troubling you. May be Assumption, may be conclusion, inference etc.
You need to find that out and then practice them
RC: This again can be drilled down into different types of questions and also different topics. See what questions and topics trouble you the most and then practice accordingly.
Quants: Again try to break the questions in topics such as Algebra, Number system (very important), Geometry, PnC etc.

As an addition, start preparing an error log and keep a note of all the mistakes you made and the lessons you learnt from the problems. This will ensure you do not make the same mistake again.

How long ago did you take the tests in which you scored 650 etc? Did you do some significant study in between? The reason I am asking is to find out whether V42 was an outlier (could be because some questions were familiar to you) or you would be able to replicate it again.

As for SC, try out our free SC four part video lesson: https://www.veritasprep.com/gmat/

I actually took both the first and the second one on may 1st (couldn't believe I scored so low, thought the first score was due to stress)
that was before I started my studies (so they were diagnostic tests) I did all the thing mentioned in the first post between the 650 & 750 tests. (so studies 2-3 hours a day for 2 months)

Thanks but I can not do that. I live in Iran and I have to take the test in UAE. passport and hotel and plane tickets and whatnot. sadly It all means I have to take It at the aforementioned date.

It also means that I pretty much just have this one chance to take the test so I have to be REALLY prepared.

That's good news. It shows that you have made a lot of progress. 70 days is a lot of time. You should find out the sections/question types in which you made mistakes in this test and then review those. Continue doing practice questions from the various resources you have. Plan to take one practice test in 10 days.
