Hi....
75% produce apples, out of which 20% or 75*20/100 % or 15% produce yellow apples.
So PROBABILITY of choosing one of those = 15/100=0.15

Let total no. of trees be 100
Apple trees = 75% =75
Yellow apple = 20% of 75 = 75/5 =15
Probability = 15/100 = 0.15

If we let the total number of trees = n, then 3/4 x 1/5 x n = 3n/20 produce yellow apples. Thus, the probability that the tree selected produces yellow apples is (3n/20)/n = 3/20 = 0.15.
