\(\frac{9^5 - 9^4}{2^3}\)

I can only figure this out by doing all the calculations. What is the best way to solve this problem?

So please:
Provide answer choices for PS questions.

As for your question:
\(\frac{9^5 - 9^4}{2^3}\) --> factor out \(9^4\) from nominator --> \(\frac{9^4*(9-1)}{2^3}=\frac{9^4*8}{8}=9^4\).

\(\frac{9^5 - 9^4}{2^3}\)

\(\frac{9^4(9 - 1)}{2^3}\)

\(\frac{(9^4)(8)}{8}\) \(=9^4\)
