Question: At what price will the chair be offered for sale?

Given:
A \$100 chair is increased in price by 50 percent. = \$ 100 x 1.5 = \$ 150 (New Price)
The chair is then discounted by 50 percent of the new price. = \$150 x 0.5 = \$ 75 (Discounted Sale Price)

initial price 100

50% increase = 100*1.5 = 150

50% decrease = 150*.5 = 75
