OA - C

a + b + c = 11 --(i)
c + d + e = 23 -- (ii)

a + b + 2c + d+ e= 34 --(iii)

a + b+ c+ d+ e = 28 -- (iv)

Solving iii - iv

c = 34-28 = 6

A. 4
B. 5
C. 6
D. 7
E. More than one value possible

a+b+c=11 ----- 1
c+d+e=23 ------2
a+b+c+d+e=28 -----3

c=11-a-b ------ from 1
substituting in 3

a+b+11-a-b+d+e=28
11+d+e=28

d+e=17, substituting in 1 or 2 we get a 6.
