1 revolution = 3.14 * diameter.
Number of revolutions in 1km = 1000m / ( 3.14 * 0.71m ) = 448.5. Hence 448 complete revolutions.

Circumference is \(d*\pi\) = (.71m)(\(\pi\)), rounding:

\(\frac{7}{10}\)m * \(\frac{22}{7}\) = \(\frac{22}{10}\)m, or 2.2 m = circumference

1km = 1,000m, which is distance

Distance/circumference = # of revolutions

\(\frac{1,000 m}{2.2 m}\) = 454 revolutions

Answer B is the only one that's close.
