the car drives 10 miles in city and spends 0.5 gallon
then it drives 50 miles on highway and spends 1.25 gallon

in total it drives 60 miles and spents 1.65 gallons

60/1.65=36.363636... therefore D

(it's easier to divide 6000 by 165 =)
