Percent Increase in Visual Range by X = 180/90 = 200%
Percent Increase in Visual Range by Y = 135/45 = 300%

Kindly note that question is asking CHANGE in PERCENT INCREASE and not CHANGE in PERCENT

Question is ---Y is how much greater than X
Change = $$\frac{(300-200)}{200}$$
= 50%

Telescope X: 90 + 180 = 270. So, increase = 200%.
Telescope Y: 45 + 135 = 180. So, increase = 300%.

Percentage increase in Y is more than percentage increase in X by 300-200/200 = 50%. Ans - B.
