A class consists of 24 students. Which of the following CANNOT be the ratio of the number of girls to the number of boys?

A. 1:2
B. 3:5
C. 1:1
D. 4:3
E. 7:5

Total number of students must be divisible by the sum of the ratio.

Only option D, ( 4 + 3 ) = 7, is not a factor of 24.

The best answer is D.
