8C5 = 8C3 = 8 * 7 * 6 / 3! = 8 * 7 = 56.

The number of possible committees is 8C5 = 8! / (5! x 3!) = (8 x 7 x 6) / (3 x 2) = 56 x 6 / 6 = 56.
