just to check the singular plural relationship for split and then "it" as a pronoun doesnt have any clear antecedent.

In the correct answer choice "C" two FANBOYS" are used at the same time: "and so".
Is it normal?
I always thought that one is enough, while two is redundant.
Can anybody explain, please.
