IMO it should be C.( solved using the weighted average approach)

Post the OA revelation, OP do post the approach.

I didn't pay attention when solving so I got it wrong. Stupid mistakes are costly.

5/100·3/4+50/100·1/4=
1/20·3/4+1/2·1/4=3/80+1/8=13/80 (over eighty!)
13·5/4=16.25
