(1) The revenue from individual memberships was $150,000 less than the revenue from family memberships.

Let the total revenue from individual members and families be m and f respectively. It is given that m+f=450000.
Stmt 1 says: m+150000=f substituting this in the previous equation gives : m+m+150000=450000 i.e m=150000 and f=300000. However, the quest asks for the membership fee per family. As we do not have the total no. families we can not find this out. Hence...not suff

Stmt 2: F=2m. Hence, m+2m=450000 i.e. m=150000. Which leads us to the answer in stmt 1 itself. Hence not suff as still no information available on the number of families.

Ans is E
