' All it had was a bare table and a board' is grammatically incorrect -- all it had 'were a table and a board' is the correct form. For example, we say that there are a brother and a sister in that apartment and not there is a brother and sister in that apartment.
On that count B through E are out. We are left with just A, which uses the additive 'along ' to suit the singular 'was.' However, even in A, the convoluted passage makes it more of a showpiece than actual practice stuff.

Responding to a pm:

Note that the first underlined part ends with a comma:
"A little over a decade ago, when Jinko-Solar,"
"when Jinko-Solar..." needs to be a dependent clause. But we don't have a verb yet. So we know that what will follow is a nonessential modifier.

In option (C),
"... when Jinko-Solar, entered the solar business,..." is not correct. You cannot have a comma between subject and verb.

D. visited international trade fairs, the Shanghai-based company entered the solar business, all it had was a bare table and a board

E. a Shanghai-based company, entered the solar business, and was such a novice that when it visited international trade fairs, all it had was a bare table and a board

Hence, B.
