A marketing survey found that all participants had subscriptions to a magazine, a newspaper, or a book club. Of the participants, 30% subscribed to a magazine, 50% subscribed to a newspaper, and 20% subscribed to a book club. How many people subscribed to two or more publication types?

(1) Of the 100 people surveyed, everyone that subscribed to a book club also subscribed to a newspaper.
(2) Of the 100 people surveyed, anyone who subscribed to a magazine didn't subscribe to any other publication type.

Let Mag = 30; Npaper = 50 and Bclub = 20

St1: BClub and Npaper = 20 --> Not sufficient as we do not know the share between (Mag and Npaper) and (Mag and BClub)

St2: (Mag and BClub) and (Mag and Npaper) = 0 --> Not Sufficient as we do not know Bclub and Npaper.

Combining St1 and St2,
People subscribed to 2 or more publications = 20 + 0 = 20.

Answer: C
