For question 6 I am not understanding why option A is wrong, I was confused between A and D, both looked right to me
In these lines
" Cancer, it seems, was becoming increasingly frequent in New England, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Switzerland, where a lot of milk is produced and consumed, while remaining rare in Ceylon, where milk is scarce. "
The passage states cancer is common among english societies where milk availability & consumption is high but wrt to ceylon milk is scarce.
Now if we go by option A "Ceylonese drink more milk than English" by this cancer should be frequent among ceylonese but since it is rare (as per the passage) this contradicts the correlation between milk and cancer. I'm not sure why author would reject this statement, which indeed helps to bolster his argument.
Kindly help me where I am going wrong.

Sajjad1994 - In the below question, why would option E be incorrect. Doesn't option B also imply that the reason for low incidence of cancer might not be milk consumption, but higher life expectancy?

One reason this question is hard is the question statement itself, it looks somehow confusing. One can easily get trapped by not paying attention to what actually the question is demanding. This is an EXCEPT question but with a different statement. The question asks us " which of the following is not the silly example of the cause of cancer?"

In the first paragraph it is mentioned:

In Wisconsin, if the consumption of milk is high then why do people of Wisconsin have relatively high life expectancies? so this is the discrepancy that is out of the box and which negates the silly reasons given in the passage.
(E) People who live in some states of the southern United States have relatively high life expectancies
