1st kind of wine = 403
2nd kind of wine = 527
3rd kind of wine = 589

HCF of 403, 527, 589 = 31

least number of casks required = \(\frac{403+527+589}{31}\) = \(\frac{1519}{31}\) = 49

Correct answer: Option A

Anyway you used a trick to evaluate the HCF at 31? Cause 31 is kind of far in the prime table...

Can I not have 3 casks of 600 gallons each? They can comfortably store all the wine without mixing.
There is something about this question that either I am misinterpreting or is incorrect.

Probably we have to focus only on the available options rather than determine the overall least number of casks that do the job.
