peanut : cashew = 17:3 by weight
peanut : cashew = 1:10 by cost

let the cost of peanuts = 17x*y
let the cost of cashew = 3x*10y

cost of peanut / total cost = \(\frac{17x*y}{17x*y+3x*10y} = \frac{17}{47} \approx{\frac{16}{48}} \approx{\frac{1}{3}}\),
nearest to 35% D

Imagine the weight of mixture 100 units, so 15 units of that is cashews and 85 units are peanuts.
And let the price of each unit of cashew 10.so 10×15=150

So the price of 85 units of peanuts is 85.

85+150=235
85/235=~ 35%
Option D
