A movie theater sells two types of tickets: adult tickets at \$6 each and children’s tickets at \$4 each. If the theater sold 200 tickets on a given day, how many adult tickets were sold?

(1) The number of children’s tickets sold was 40 more than 3 times the number of adult tickets sold.
(2) The theater earned \$400 more on the sale of children’s tickets than it did on the sale of adult tickets.
