A sales representative will receive a 15% commission on a sale of $2800. If she has already received an advance of $150 on that commission, how much more is she due on the commission?

(A) $120

(B) $270

(C) $320

(D) $420

(E) $570

The amount of commission owed is 2800 x 0.15 = 420 dollars.

Since she has already received 150 dollars, 420 - 150 = 270 dollars is still owed to her.
