IMO C I will solve this question by table method which is as following:-

If every child in the school eats 1 bread a day and there is enough bread
to feed 30 children for 4 days, the school must have 30*4 = 120 bread.

Since 10 more children are added to the school, the number of children must be 40.

Therefore, the time for which the bread lasts is \(\frac{120}{40} = 3\) days(Option C)

Let each student eats 1 bread a day. Therefore, 30 students for 4 days will eat: 30 * 4 = 120 breads

=> Now if 10 more children are added: 30 + 10 = 40.

=> 120 bread will last for \(\frac{120 }{ 40}\) = 3 days.

amount = rate * time

30 * 4 = 120 rations of bread.

If 10 more students are added: 30 + 10 = 40 students

120 / 40 = 3 days.

Quick question why is below method wrong? Where's my thinking gone wrong?
