buying cost per candy ; 2/5 ; .4
so 1000 candies price ; 1000*.4 = 400\$
SP per candy l 1/2 ; 0.5
SP for 1000 candies ; .5*100 ; 500 \$
Profit = SP-CP; 500-400 ; 100 \$

given 5 candy bars were bought for 2 dollar ==> 10 are bought for 4 dollars
CP ==> 1000 for 400dollars
2 candy bars were sold for 1 dollar ==> 10 sold for 5 dollars
==> 1000 sold for 500 dollars

Profit = 500-400 = 100 dollars - Option A

Cost per candy bar = \$2/5
Selling price per candy bar = \$1/2

Profit per candy bar = (1/2)-(2/5) = 1/10

=>Profit for 1000 candy bars = 1000/10 = \$100
