If the diameter is 14, then the circumference is \(14 \pi\), since the arc length is \(7\pi\) then the central angle must be \(\frac{7\pi}{14\pi}*360 = 180\).

Since the diameter is 14, the circumference of teh circle is 14π. Since the sector length is 7π, it represents half of the circle's circumference.

Thus, the measure of the central angle of the sector is half of 360, which is 180.

Answer: E
