A special documentary show was attended by 240 students, who were either from class IV or from class V. Among all the students, the number of girls were 3 times the number of boys. Also, the number of students from class IV was twice the number of students from class V. If 7/16th of the students of class V were boys, then how many girls were there who were not from class V?

Sixth=2fifth; so 3fifth=240; fifth students=80.
Girls=3boys; 4b=240;b=60 and g=180.
7/16th of fifth were boys = 7*80/16=35, girls from fifth=45
So girls not from fifth=180-45=135 IMO Option E
