Option B . Conclusion says ''learning to play a musical instrument makes children that age academically stronger.'' It is mentioning any musical instrument. but in premises, the author is talking about Violin. So the skills which are required to play violin are in a way connected to the skills required to play other instrument. Option B fills a gap. Hope it helps. Option C can not fill a gap.

if you observe closely c itself is the conclusion.
cause--------------effect.
Learning MI >> ++ academics.

Clearly, the missing link is between Violin & Musical Instrument, which option (B) clearly matches, hence answer must be (B)
