The teacher currently grades at the rate of 10papers/hour. In order to grade the remaining 30 papers in 2.5 hours, i.e. 12papers/hour. Hence the teacher should increase her speed by 20%.

total avail time ; 180 mins
correction done 5 papers 30 mins so per paper ; 6 mins
left time ; 150 mins per paper teacher has 150/30 ; 5 mins
so % increase in work required; 6-5/5 ; 1/5 ; 20%
