Since the survey points that of the cars coming towards point A,
$$\frac{7}{12}$$ turn towards point B and
$$\frac{5}{12}$$ of the cars turn towards point C!

Furthermore, the survey points that of the 7 cars coming towards
pt B, $$\frac{3}{7}$$ turn towards point D and $$\frac{4}{7}$$ point towards point E.

The question asks us to find out the total number of cars which point towards pt B.

Since 48 cars arrive at pt A $$\frac{7}{12}*48$$ = 28(Option C) cars are expected to turn towards point B.
