A. (2d + c)/3

B. 8d + 4c

C. (8d + 121c)/12

D. (4d + 8c)/12

E. d + c/3

For the first 8 hours payment received = 8d
For the next 4 hours payment received = 4c

Total payment received = 8d + 4c

So, Average hourly wage is \(\frac{(8d + 4c)}{12} = \frac{(2d +c)}{3}\)

Answer will be (A)

Average hourly wage = total wage / total number of hours worked = 8d + 4c/ 12 = (2d + c) /3 - A
