If a business school have 29% total acceptance, is it fair to assume that it may have a higher, say 35-40% acceptance among women?

Unfortunately, there aren't any statistics available on that, but yes, since there are typically fewer women applying and the programs are trying to integrate more women into their classes, female acceptance rates are generally higher. In particular, Wharton's class is now 40% women.
