Just wondering how many of you have access to your recommendations. I dont have access to my recommendations. So I am little nervous about what my recommenders have written.

thanks

Any guide on the recommender packets?

One of the older posts on this topic had a sample guide that a user posted - I used that as a starting point.

I'm reattaching it for convenience.

I don't have access because I heard it looks better if you waive the right.

However, I also read on the "Ask Chicago Adcom" thread on the bw forums that the adcoms don't care less either way.

Plus, if I could read them, it would just give me one more think to worry about!

You should definitely waive your right to them. Adcoms will say they won't care, but it's sort of an unwritten rule...or at least I thought so.

I did the same. I trust my recommenders on the execution part...we'll see how it plays out - I might be singing a different tune if I have 5 rejections at the end of January.

So waiving the right does not guarantee that you have not seen your recommendations. For me, not waiving the right shows how curious I am to know what crap my recommenders have written...
